Algeria Poland Exchange Council
The Algeria Poland Exchange Council (ALPECO) is a binational non-governmental organization, founded and registered in Poland, headquartered in Kraków, dedicated to building a lasting bridge between Algeria and Poland. Born of the conviction that relations between nations are shaped as much by official diplomacy as by the ties forged between civil societies, academic institutions, economic actors, and cultural communities, ALPECO stands as a platform for dialogue, cooperation, and shared opportunity.
Our Mission
ALPECO works to strengthen and diversify Algerian-Polish relations through four foundational pillars:
Economy — Facilitating trade exchanges and cross-border investment, supporting businesses from both countries in identifying reliable partners, and contributing to the emergence of high-value joint ventures.
Education — Encouraging academic mobility, university partnerships, and exchange programs, opening new horizons of training and scientific collaboration for students and researchers of both nations.
Culture — Promoting mutual understanding of Algerian and Polish heritage, arts, and traditions, by organizing and supporting events that bring peoples together beyond institutional frameworks.
Sport — Fostering sporting exchanges, partnerships between federations and clubs, and joint events, powerful vectors for bringing together the youth of both countries.
Our Vision
ALPECO aspires to become the leading platform for every cooperation initiative between Algeria and Poland — a meeting point where public institutions, businesses, universities, and cultural and sporting organizations can come together, engage in dialogue, and build projects of meaning and value for both nations.

Our Commitment
Based in Kraków, ALPECO operates with full independence, in strict compliance with Polish law governing associations, and maintains cooperative relations with institutions, chambers of commerce, universities, and cultural actors in both countries. Through its initiatives — including the ALPECO Summit, the flagship event of Algerian-Polish economic and investment cooperation — the organization aims to translate this vision into concrete achievements, for the benefit of both nations and their peoples.
